Oh Beta where art thou?? More Halo for all those with withdrawls!!

Game On will be holding a Halo 2 2v2 tournament. This one will be a mix of "MLG style" and "Classic" style tournaments of the past; so that people can just pick up and play and have fun. So grab a partner and put your name down on this list.

When: Saturday July 7st, 10am-4pm
Where: Game On Interactive, Miranda (Sydney)
Entry Cost: $20 per person
Format: Halo 2 2v2 Tournament
Equipment: All equipment (TVs, xboxes, controllers, games) are provided. Bringing your own controllers is OK, so long as it is clearly marked as being your property.
Prizes: Prizes will be on offer and will be announced shortly.

Please dicuss with your team FIRST before registering. Please do not register if you are unsure if your team is all available to come.

Doors open at 9am, with the tournament starting at 10am sharp. The tournament will finish by 3-4pm. Those attending who dont make the finals can play till 4pm at no extra cost. Stick around for some big team Halo 2 action, or try out another of Game On's explanding collection of Xbox and Xbox 360 games.

If you want to play but can't find a teammate, don't despair! Post your details in this thread, and we'll match you up with other players.

GAMETYPES

The gametypes will be a mixture 2v2 slayer and objective games on the new maps as well as old favourites such as Lockout, Midship, Warlock, Beaver Creek, Ivory Tower, Ascension etc.

Address: Shop 1, 591, The Kingsway Miranda (Sutherland Shire area)
(near Westfield Shoppingtown Miranda, opposite Carmens Nightclub)

Refer to the Cityrail website for the Train Timetable.

1) Make your way to Town Hall, Central, or Redfern Train Stations
2) You'll have to catch a train that is on the 'Illawarra' line (marked blue on the city rail map)
3) The train to catch is marked as a 'Cronulla' Train. Catch this train ONLY. DO NOT catch a train marked Waterfall or Dapto.
4) Once on the train, get off at 'Miranda' train station. It is about a 45 minute ride from Central station.

Walking from Miranda Station:
Once you are out of the station, walk up Kiora Road. You should be passing Westfield Shoppingtown. At the first big intersection, take a LEFT onto 'The Kingsway'. Then cross the road so you are on the opposite side to where the Westfield is located. You should be able to see Game On Interactive from there. It is opposite Carmens Nightclub (grey/dark blue building. Also has a big "Miranda Hotel" sign on it now).

Sam is there ANY chance at all you can change the date? Please! It's on the holidays so maybe a weekday? I really want to enter but I can't miss sport

edit: possibly on a weekday at night? it would be much more enjoyable playing a 2v2 lets say from 5pm-11pm rather than right through the middle of the day. pleaseeeeeeeeeeee

Sammmm . I miss every tournament because their saturday! I personally think that you would get a much better turn-out thus a better profit for your business if you change the date! Aswell as playing at night would be more appealing to your consumers. Your killing me here Sam please!

Sorry Silverblade but we have our flat fee nights on Friday and Saturday nights so we cannot do it then.

We also tried tournaments during the week and at night in the past and the best turnouts have generally been on a weekend during the day.
