Cowabunga Dude! The legendary Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtleswho are seamlessly still teenagers make a long waited return to the big screen and a debut on the Xbox 360! With this rendition of a Ninja Turtlesgame they have never looked better though still lacks the High definition graphics we all know the Xbox 360 can produce.
The TMNT (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) follows closely to their latest film which is completely Computer Generated Imagery. The Film and Game tells the story of the Ninja Turtleswhich is also narrated by them and the wise Splinter, reuniting once again from going their separate ways to combat evil realising that the families bond can never be broken.

The first couple of levels, there are 16 in total, consists of retelling the story of each Ninja Turtle and the adventures they encounter before they reunite to battle the evil Foot Clan. Each level is completely linear; you start from one point with one of the turtles and basically make your way through an obstacle course collecting coins on the way as an added objective. As you progress through the levels you must utilise your super ninja athletic skills to jumps large gaps, navigate across ledges, run up walls and climb great heights. A TMNT game would not be complete with out kicking some baddies butts. Through out each level you will get ambushed by barrage of thugs who must be defeated before continuing the level. The fighting system which is quite simple is still rather entertaining. You use your weapon with the (B) and perform a Spin kick to knock back the enemies with the (Y) Button. To perform a powerful attack you press and hold either (B) or (Y), these attacks will prove useful against large amounts of enemies.
As you progress through the levels you will have access to all of your ninja turtle buddies (Michelangelo, Ralphael, Donatello, Leonardo) you can switch between each turtle by pressing the (X) button. Once you have all of your brother turtles in hand you can perform a Brother Throw by pressing (X) while in mid air to launch yourself across large gaps. In addition to the Brother Throw, during battle you can perform a “Super Family Attack” by holding down (X), depending on which Ninja Turtle you are you and one fellow turtle brother will perform a double team move which has the potential to knock out large amounts of enemies. Ninja Turtle choice will prove to be crucial through out the latter levels.

Each Ninja Turtle has their own unique weapon and athletic abilities. Such as with Michelangelo who is the master of the Nun Chucks. He can perform a fast flurry of attacks as well as has the athletic ability to perform the ‘Nun Chuck Helicopter’ which is particularly usefully to hover over large gaps especially when his fellow family members are not available to help him. Ubisoft effectively designed each level so that each Ninja Turtle must use his special athletic ability in order to successfully complete each level.
