Penny Arcade: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness the game is like the web comic has come seamlessly into life in game form and has been directed at the fans of the site. As fans would know, Penny Arcade picks on video games and their crazed fans in all kinds of scenarios. So it may seem ironic that the creators would want a game of their own. For whatever the reason I am sure glad they did as who doesn’t want to see a Juicing robot molest an orange? If this offends you even in the slightest stay away from this game.

The game itself is unique to the XBLA and comes in at a whopping 1600 XBL points however it is well worth it if you are a fan. The price tag seems high but the game ensures by pure hilarity it is worth it.

Once you load the game you start by creating a character. The game is based in 1922 so it is fitting that you get to pick all the raging fashions for your character based on this time. Once suited up you start in your home town of New Arcadia in 1922. As you are sweeping up the leaves in your garden BAM! A giant pissed off Fruit Juicing Robot tramples the crap out of your humble abode. Now at first you gather your thoughts and then get mad as all hell and chase after the giant robot.

As you progress through the game you will come across smaller Juicing robots with a fondness for fruit, mimes and other evil creatures trying to stop you in your quest for revenge. The levels are divided by screens (as in comic book style) and as you continue you earn different maps and then access to different areas of the game. You survive by picking up bandages and other power ups along the way by smashing open crates or bins, looking in letter boxes or defeating enemies in combat.
