Its been some time since the guys over at Splash Damage brought us Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, but they are back with Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. Enemy Territory: Quake Wars puts you on planet earth as it’s invaded by the evil Strogg, an alien cyborg race. Earths last hope to stop the alien invaders is the Global Defence Force (GDF) who will stop at nothing to rid earth of all invading Strogg’s.
Enemy Territory: Quake Wars offers an array of game types to keep all entertained for hours, from single player campaign and instant action through to local and live multiplayer action and live cooperative. Enemy Territory: Quake Wars allows the player to choice to fight either for or against earth in an all out objective based war.One of the major negatives against Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is the great potential for a campaign storyline with achieving goals at the end of each mission is all missed out. Enemy Territory: Quake Wars has the option for Campaign mode but follows either very little or no storyline making the campaign a pre laid out quick match against bots. Although it would have made the campaign more enjoyable and entertaining for most gamers it does achieve its goals of being a great team based game. Similar to Return To Castle Wolfenstein and Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, one is a great single player and the other is a great multiplayer game.
