Although there are a lot of choices now on XBLA when it comes to you vs wave upon wave of enemies there is endless choices out there. Shred Nebula is one of those games that put you against everything. Shred Nebula places you in a space environment taking you from galaxy to galaxy in trace of a lost ship and the cause of planetary destruction’s. As some arcades have very little story line thrown in to them Shred Nebula is one of those types with very little story line but a nice flow of game play.
Following a similar setup as games such as Geometry Wars though instead of the horse shoe shaped shit you are a jet powered space ship and replace the glowing enemies with other enemy ships.
The game has very minimal story line but picks up a lot in the game play side. The stages advance with bigger and stronger waves of enemies being thrown at you, all while your tyring to collect data and hyper drive shells to bring you closer to finding missing shape ships and the cause of the planetary destruction.
The controls and graphics of the game are very well thrown together with the Left stick to direct your ship where to go and the triggers to fire and move forward of backwards. The Right stick is then used to control your second weapon mounted to your space ship with the D-Pad used to select your secondary weapon.
